We'll take a journey through New York's regulated Cannabis industry, and what it takes to build a brand in it. As recreational cannabis legalization sweeps the nation state by state, the sector is set to be a multi-billion dollar contributor to the US economy (in addition to state taxes/budgets). With the passing of the Marijuana Regulation and Taxation Act (MRTA) in 2021, New York was forecast to be one of America's largest recreational cannabis markets, pulling up alongside the $5.9 billion California juggernaut.
